Sections

This platform is based on the idea that each page within a website is a collection of individual sections that have their own behaviors and design properties. Designers can choose from a wide variety of section types that have been callibrated to intelligently flow on various screen and devices sizes. Individual features of each section type are highly customizable, although they come with optimized defaults. Section types can be added, removed, reordered, and swapped out for different varieties without impacting the rest of a page.

Page Templates

A collection of section types is organized into a page template. Page templates can be shared between different pages or be unique to each page. If desired, a change can be made to the page template that will be distributed down to each page that uses that template. Design settings (controlled via Section Settings) can be shared between templates and individualized for each page.

Editing Process

For the most part, changes to content are made directly on the page, so you can preview them in real time before making them publically visible.

The general edit process is as follows:

1. Navigate to the page you would like to edit
2. Beneath the URL in your browser, hover your mouse over the toolbar 
3. Click Edit Mode on the toolbar
4. Edit the sections and content blocks of your choosing
5. Click Publish Changes
